Big Ship or Little Ship ?

I was talking to a client recently about a cruise they were thinking about but she explained that they have only ever been on a River Cruise Ship not an Ocean Cruise Liner. What was worrying them was the size and number of passengers. This got me looking into the Smaller Ships.

I am always writing about the next big Ship making its launch in Southampton and cannot remember when we had a small ship (apart from Adonia and she was brought from Princess and refurnished so does not count.

I then went on a mission to find something that would appeal. AZAMARA CLUB CRUISES – wow. A unique Boutique style ship with only 686 passengers so they can sail into the tiny little ports that the bigger ships cannot get anywhere near.

The Azamara Journey and the Azamara Quest are designed to be smaller and very luxurious with a laid back Country Club feel. They have two speciality restaurants, spa and fitness centre, wine bar and daily entertainment programmes which include lectures and interactive talks on the places you are visiting on your itinerary.

With 64 countries and 228 pots of call including Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the British Isles. Some cruises will include world wide major events.

Both ships will undergo a complete refurbishment in 2016 so no better time to try the small ship experience.

Included in the fare is Bottled water and soft drinks,
speciality tea and coffee
wines beers and spirits and all tips.
