Another New Cruise Ship

Every year more and more new Cruise Ships come onto the Market. This year brought us Britannia and Anthem. I was away on my own holiday and missed the Britannia experience, but was well and truly wowed by Anthem of the Seas. When I was invited to go and see Norwegian Cruise Lines newest baby I was very excited as in all the years I have worked in the travel industry and cruised I have never been on a Norwegian.

What can Norwegian do to make this different from the others ? what can I tell you that my other colleagues have not said already ? Yes she is amazing and the Waterfront for me was a winner. I loved that as not seen that before I know the Breakaway and the Getaway have it but this was the best thing for me as so different from other lines. I could just imagine being in the Med or the Caribbean and strolling along a bustling harbour and stopping for a cocktail or two in a lovely little bar. Well the Waterfont on deck 8 gave you that same feeling, you could sit outside and watch the ocean and see the sunset as you sail to your next port of call.

I want to tell you about the lights. Wow wow wow. We all know how lighting and create an atmosphere also effects our mood and they way we feel. These were amazing. The Atrium had to be the show stopper. It changed colour throughout the day and was very dramaticmain atrium light esc

In the Haven Spa area the lights were very quirky but the next picture does not give the full effect as it daylight. But this was above the private pool areahaven light

On entering the Haven spa you had a feel of calm so this greeted you in herespa lght

We then looked at the Haven suites and so many amazing features and details in these cabins from the furnishings, space and space and more space. You would get another three cabins on the balcony alone. Imagine lying in bed with this above you.over bed

That was just one area you should see the rest of the ship, that is a whole new story.
