Wow the excitement is really buzzing throughout the Travel Industry and has reached its peak here at Cruise.co.uk. Some of us have been lucky enough to have been invited to experience this amazing Quantum Class ship with a 2 night stay.
Anthem of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s newest ship to join it’s fleet. She brings with her a list of first for the Cruise Line. With a 168600 tonnage, 4905 passengers, 1946 staterooms, 760 crew and 18 restaurants to name but a few. We are very excited to see for ourselves three other firsts.
Ripcord by Ifly a 23 foot glass chamber which once kitted out in your jumpsuit, helmet and goggles will allow you to skydive. You will be firstly with an instructor then get chance to fly it alone.
North Star
This is a jewel shaped pod that ascends 300 feet above the deck, its robotic also rotates 360 degrees giving you some amazing views.
SeaPlex
If you thought attractions on-board Royal were already like a funfair… then Royal Caribbean have taken this to a whole new level with SeaPlex! It is the largest indoor activity space at sea and it is the only place you can play dodgems whilst sailing! The area can also accommodate roller skating, basketball games, trapeze lessons and even dance parties. At night the area transforms into a disco with a DJ booth. The SeaPlex is also surrounded by an area for table tennis, foosball and X-box’s.
Another place I am sure we will all sample will be the Bar, but no ordinary bar this one is operated by robots
I will tell you all about our experience on my return. Off to pack now as flight in 2 hours.
