I don’t know if I should admit this or not, but not only do I love Donny Osmond but I am also a massive Disney fan. Well that has probably not done much for street cred , other than tell you what a bit romantic softy I am.
I have relived the Disney films and parks with my own Disney crazy Daughter who is now 17 and still loves Disney. Especially it’s latest blockbuster the Magical Frozen (hence the refer to Let it go, Frozen main song). So for all of you with young children I am sure you are all Frozened out so to speak. So how about a little bit more ! Disney Cruise lines are bringing a new experience on board inspired from this hit film. I hope you are familiar with princess Elsa (the blond pictured above) and Olaf the adorable Snowman.
These characters along with Anna, Sven (a moose ) and Kristoff will be making their debut this Summer on board the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder.
On a number of Alaska and Europe sailings the ships will be transferred into a winter wonderland. Sparkling icicles will line the grand staircase and resemble Elsa’s Magical Ice Palace.
The Frozen experience will include a deck party, a meet and greet with the characters, a storybook adventure on shore and a stage show production. When we were in Walt Disney World back in June 2014 little girls we waiting in lines for over three hours to meet the Princess Elsa and Anna and it had not been officially released then. Imagine what it will be like now.
Families will be able to take part in Anna’s Chase for Chocolate scavenger hunt and children can join in ‘Do you want a build a Snowman’ activity where they will have magic powers to create snow and ice.
The Frozen fun will continue into the evening where you can learn to dance a Scandinavian dance called ‘The maypole swirl and twirl’. You can then indulge in Frozen themed dining with Nordic dishes inspired by the film.
I know this is not to everyone’s taste but we all deserve a bit of Magic at the end of a very busy January. Have a Magical Day !!!
