Here is a sight you don’t see often.

Happy New Year To you all. My first post of 2014. Hope all went well for you.

Now, to me Cruising is my dream come true, amazing, value for money, educational, relaxing and I would even say Magical. So when I saw the beautiful Queen Mary 2 photographed whilst in port in New York recently it gave me goose bumps.  She is covered in a few inches of SNOW ! how magical is that.  One day shivering in the Big Apple’s winter wonderland before heading out to sea on another amazing itinerary. Just a few days before I had a customer lucky enough to have travelled the westbound transatlantic and just missed this sight.  He told me that the weather in New York was quite mild for the time of year. Just shows how quickly temperature change. Although the Atlantic was an extremely rough crossing the Mary just glided through with no trouble at all. I must try to experience the Cunard Liners this year.
