You are never too young, or old to cruise!

On talking to a client who has just returned from a ‘marvelous Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas cruise’ their comments were quite amusing.  The lead passenger took her nephew and her mother. Her response to my ‘How are you?’ question was ‘Shattered’

I listened on to hear that her Nephew was out and about all over the ship exploring with his new friends in the kids club and was out reasonably late so Auntie was awake waiting for him to return back to their staterooom.  Apparently the Flo Rider  and the rock climbing walll was a huge hit in the day and the disco was even better in the night. This is a classic reason why cruises are excellent for children as there is plenty to do on board and the ships are very safe.

Mother, however was out until all hours, again with new friends with whom she made on board but there was a certain male singer in one of the show lounges who caught her eye and she never missed a performance.  She even apparently had a set of undergarments stuffed in her handbag ‘1960’s style’ to throw at the performer once he had finished his set.

Mother was the life and soul of the party and enjoyed herself thoroughly and can’t wait to cruise again.  Not bad for a lady who is 85 years old I guess and in her words she was the ‘youngest, oldest swinger in town’

So if you can’t beat them, join them!
