Quantum of the Seas to go East

Royal Caribbean announced today it will send its brand new Quantum of the Seas to home port in Shanghai (Baoshan), China in May 2015.

Quantum will join two other RCCL ships, Mariner and Voyager in Chinese waters for this season. This proves that China is a growing cruise market if Royaal Caribbean are sending one of their brand new ships out there.

However you have to think that with the majority of guests on board will be Asian so how do the cruise lines cater for theses guests?  With sailings from Southampton, UK guests still like their full English breakfast with British style bacon (not that crispy American bacon which cracks your teeth) so when these ships go from Chinese ports will the cruise lines swop knives and forks for chopsticks? Or will the restaurants stock more Sushi and guests will get a fortune cookie at the start of each meal? Is this being very steriotypical?

America has a huge population of Chinese and Asian with local communities who run their own restaurants, will the importation of fried rice increase or will Royal Caribbean buy their produce from China direct?  I suppose the trade in food will make the International bond between these two super powers stronger!

There are so many permutations to mention and without going too far below the belt I think I have given a few.
