Aurora’s Million pound refit

P&O have announced that they are too spend £26 Million on a refurbishment on Aurora. This will be done before her Christmas and New Year itineraries so passengers who will be joining her on her 2015 world cruise will benefit from the improvements.

Eventually all P&O ships will have their new look livery however out of the 7 ships of the P&O fleet Aurora will be the first.

Aurora will include Sindhu Restaurant so you can enjoy exquisite Indian cuisine, examples include Trio of Duck – Stir Fried, Curry & Duck Pulao and Pan-Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Enoki Mushrooms, Garlic & Cream Sauce served with Thick Cut Coriander Salt Chips

Also Aurora will include Glasshouse Wine Bar and Restaurant, again enjoy the likes of  prime steaks, Casterbridge grain-fed English beef and aged on the bone for a minimum of 21 days and Prime North Atlantic cod fillet in Weston’s cider batter.

Aurora was launched in 2000 and her last refit was 2005 so I think she needs some tlc and she is getting £26M worth of tlc ! With these new inclusions Aurora will have some of the same venues as Azura and Ventura.

This is a great investment by P&O to keep her older ladies up to date.  Also remember the Britannia launches in March 2015 too!!
