Earlier today I was having a very interesting conversation with one of my passengers who has just returned back off his cruise. He was on the Celebrity Reflection which was a fly cruise and his return flight wasn’t till 7pm. He was telling me about a programme that Celebrity offer guests whilst on on-board, which is a brilliant idea if you are doing a fly cruise. On most cruises you are thrown off board early hours of the morning and if your connecting flight isn’t till late, you are just sat about bored with nothing to do, which is not the best way to finish your cruise. The programme is called Extend Your Stay, It is being offered on Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Solstice and the Celebrity Silhouette. You can purchase the program at the Guest Relations desk whilst on-board. The cost is $59 per adult, $29.50 per child ages 3 to 12, and free for children under three years of age. Guests can depart at any time until as late as 90 minutes before the next cruise departs.

On your extended stay you can still enjoy a full line-up of benefits including non-alcoholic specialty coffees and teas, a meal in the creperie-focused specialty restaurant, Bistro on Five,watch a movie in one of the ship’s theatres, have access to the pool, fitness centre and locker rooms. The AquaSpa will be available for spa services at an additional charge. Bar purchases can be made on the last day of the cruise using a credit card.

This new programme offers passengers sheer convenience and pure relaxation. Just think no more waiting about in airports for hours on end, this is a brilliant idea if you are doing a fly cruise and well worth every penny.
