The 3 Queens In Liverpool !!!!

What an eventful Bank holiday I have just had. Well as most of you know I live in Manchester so on Monday 25th May I headed off down to Liverpool docks with one my colleagues Barbara Hopley, to watch a once in a life time experience and one of the most historical celebrations of the year, yes I am talking about Cunard and the 3 Queens which were celebrating its 175 years of maritime history and for the very first time ever all 3 Queens meeting on the River Mersey.

The day was amazing, words just cannot explain the excitement on seeing the beautiful Three Queens, the Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Victoria all lined up side by side sailing through the Mersey, it was breath-taking .

It was the most electrifying experience and the atmosphere was just unbelievable. Over a million people attended and the banks were lined with thousands of people just enjoying the events and watching the 3 Queens sail down the Mersey in sink. The shows Cunard had put on was unreal from the Red Arrows, choirs, bands, spectacular firework display, laser shows at night, I could go on forever.

I will have to say Cunard you did us proud, this was an event I will never forget.
