Guess Which Cruise Liner Is Back In The UK For 2017 ??

Firstly I will have to say a Massive welcome back to the UK to Norwegian Cruise Liners.

This is very exciting news, NCL have announced that Southampton is going to be home port for Norwegian Jade in the summer of 2017. She will be sailing on varied itineraries to Western Europe, Norway, Iceland and Scotland. It has been a long time since we have seen NCL depart from the UK, the last time was in 2009.

The NCL Jade is a Jewel-class ship, she is one of NCL’s most popular mid-sized ships with room for 2,402 passengers. She will spend two and a half weeks in dry dock in the Bahamas for a complete refurbishment before arriving in Southampton in April 2017.

Passengers can expect to find improvements on-board such as an even greater focus on food. Certain members of each ship’s cooking teams will be required to be certified by the American Culinary Foundation to raise the bar for food standards. New menus will also be added and new dishes found in the no-charge dining rooms. Speciality dining options such as La Cucina, Moderno Churrascaria, Cagney’s Steakhouse and Teppanyaki will also have an aesthetic face lift.

I have cruised on the NCL Gem and I will say I loved it, so relaxed and accommodation is just ultra-luxury, food was just to die for, so many choices, you are spoilt for choice.

Norwegian Cruise Liners are quite different to most cruise liners, they are called Freestyle, which means no formal dress, you can enjoy the freedom to dine somewhere new morning, noon and night with more restaurants than days in the week . You can dine when you choose and dress as you please.

If you have never cruised with NCL cruises well this is your chance.
