The King Is Back !

Well not literally but if you are an Elvis fan like myself you will love this news I have to share.

Fred Olsen have announced that they are doing a very special “Elvis Party Cruise” which will be on the Braemar departing from Harwich on 13th April 2015 for 5 nights. Fred Olsen will be celebrating what would have been The King’s 80th birthday, and they will be featuring Ben Portsmouth and Ben Thompson as well as Elvis discos, film shows and a great Elvis party at sea! Plus there’s an optional visit to Graceland Randers where you will see some amazing original Elvis related artifacts.

You cannot miss out on one of the main highlights which is an overnight stay in Aarhus, Denmark, it is a short distance to Randers where you will find the only replica of Presley’s Memphis home, ‘Graceland’, outside the United States! This authentic replica houses iconic Elvis memorabilia where you will discover -film posters to nostalgic photographs and reminders of the musician’s glittering career.

You will also get a full insight into what it would have been like living amongst The King’s lavish furnishings and elaborate wardrobe – you will have the chance to see his spectacular stage costumes, including the trousers he wore during the I Want You, I Need You, I Love You recording session.

Then to top it all off how about making a pit stop and relive the days when ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ was smashing the music charts on the retro jukebox in the ‘50s-style diner. Wow all sounds so amazing and those dancing shoes will be defiantly needed.
