Alton Towers Vs Quantum Of The Seas

Obviously this isn’t a fair comparison, the cruise would always win outright! It’s still a good question though so let’s look at a day out at Alton Towers vs a sea day on board Quantum of the Seas.

Which do you think will work out better for families?

Which will you have more fun on?

Let’s see shall we……………..

Breakfast

Alton Towers: You’ll have to leave silly 0:clock in the morning after having a quick bite for breakfast then having to get all the kids in the car, rushing about, then depending where you live, taking at least two hours to get there.

Quantum: Roll out of bed in sheer comfort then stroll off to one of the many beautiful restaurants she has on board for your breakfast or even better just order breakfast in your cabin. No fuss, no mess and even a dedicated waiter free of charge!

On Arrival

Alton Towers: When you arrive you’ll have to wait in silly length queues and then pay crazy prices for entrance fees which for a family of 2 adults and 2 children it would cost £170.40.

Quantum: At your leisure you can just turn up at which ever ride you prefer or even better you can just pre book your attraction rides such as flow rider, RipCord, North Star, bumper cars, roller skating, the list is endless, but all very effortless,

How about a bit Of Lunch

Alton Towers:  Not much choice really except something like a McDonalds or KFC and then you’re having to pay their inflated prices. Not the sort of food I would like at all.

Quantum: For a casual dining experience, or a quick bite on-the-go, you can choose from six places to eat . How about picking up a tasty hot dog at Seaplex Dog House, maybe grab some well-deserved coffee and cake at Café Promenade or sail your way through the varied World food islands at the Windjammer. If you after burgers and shakes pop over to the 50’s themed diner Johnny Rockets, or for scrumptious New York style pizza, pop over to Sorrento’s. Café @ Two70° offers gourmet salads, sandwiches and soups, which you can choose to eat in or take away in picnic form to enjoy elsewhere on the ship.

Homeward Bound

Alton Towers:  You have spent a fortune and queued for hours, you have the kids screaming because they are tired, your shattered, then the nightmare of the long hard drive back home.

Quantum: A little stroll back to your cabin and time to just relax after your fun filled day.

Well what can I say it just shows that for a family, life on board a cruise especially Quantum Of The Seas totally outdoes Alton Towers, you would have so much more fun and so less stress.

I know which I would choose any day ! Yes a cruise.
