P&O Saver Fare Against Their Select Fares.

Anyone that normally travels with P&O will know they have 2 ways of pricing. They have their  Saver fare which is their reduced prices- but as I call it- a no frills offer, because all I can guarantee is a particular grade of cabin on board and being brutally honest I cannot guarantee absolutely nothing else, down to what deck you might be allocated to what dining time you can choose, also no shuttle transfers from port – nothing whatsoever.

On the other side to this they have their Select fares, where you choose your cabin numbers and get all the extra benefits of dining times, on board credit, free parking or transfers and also free shuttle services from port. Now I will have to be honest I would normally say the Saver fare with P&O would normally outdo the Select fare but what I have noticed lately is that the Select fare really does win.

I have checked so many cruises over the last couple of weeks and because with the Select fare you have so many additional benefits it really does win. So the next time you are looking for a cruise with P&O make sure you ask your agent to look at the Select fare as well as the Saver fare because you could be saving yourself so much more that you don’t realise .

Here is an example :

P&O Azura departing the 15th October 2014, 10nights Atlantic Coast,

Inside cabin based on the NE Grade,

Saver Fare is : £759pp with no additional benefits.

Select Fare is : £799pp with £110pp on board credit, Free Parking or Free Transfers, choose your cabin number and your dining times.

That is only £40 difference in the cost, but look at all the additional benefits you have with the Select Fare, it wins out right.
