More Price Changes For P&O And Cunard.

Would you believe P&O and Cunard are on the change again, just when you and I thought things were about to settle down but NO.

They have decided to get rid of the Getaway Fares and Vantage Fares, to replace it with a new pricing structure that came into effect on Monday 04th November 2013. The new pricing system will apply for all spring 2014 and thereafter. P&O new fares are being called “Select Price” and Cunard “Premium Value Fares”.  With the new pricing structure passengers will have more flexible booking conditions, you will be able to specify your cabin as well as other benefits such as on-board credit, free shuttle services, car parking at Southampton or coach transfers. These prices are supposed to be cheaper than the Vantage fares they are getting rid of but we will have to wait and see !
And it doesn’t finish there, they have also decided that an Early Saver fare being is being introduced on selected cruises with further price reductions, limited added value options and less flexible conditions.

To be honest I just don’t know why they don’t bring their fares down to a reasonable price rather than having so many different pricing structures that confuse ourselves as well as our customers. Simple !

What are your thought on this ? I would really like to know.
