Yesterday Viking River Cruises yesterday achieved a Guinness World Record by naming 14 ships in just 24 hours.

and they were helped by TV baker Mary Berry who became the Godmother of the Alsvin in Amsterdam.

The Guinness World Record involved the christening of 14 deluxe Longships in 3 cities across France, Germany and the Netherlands with ceremonies held in Avignon, Rostock and Amsterdam. The previous record was also held by Viking River Cruises who last year named 10 ships in one day.
