From April 2015 Celebrity Cruises are introducing Suite Class and are taking luxury to the next level. They will be following in Cunard’s footsteps and offering a separate dining area and VIP lounge to their suite guests. The level of increased benefits depends upon the type of suite that you book but there are some great benefits for everyone booking a suite one of their ships.

Guests in a Sky Suite and above will be able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in their  own dedicated dining space which will offer them unique menu’s and dishes that are prepared especially for them and not served anywhere else on board. These dishes will be inspired by the destinations being visited and prepared with the finest ingredients. They will be also be enhanced with perfect wine pairings by the Master Sommelier who has over 450 wines to select from.

Suite guests (excluding Sky Suites) will also have access to Michael’s Club, their very own VIP Lounge which will exhibit an exclusive ambiance and offer a dedicated concierge service as well as serving unique food and drink experiences.

Those customers opting for one of the higher suites, Royal, Penthouse and Reflection suites will also have access to following, all of which are complimentary to them.

Unlimited speciality dining

Unlimited internet access

Premium drinks package for all people in the suite

Mini Bar stocked daily with beer, soda and water.

And finally all suite guests who join the Captains Club are eligible for a host of incredible extras, including complimentary events, on board discounts and an invitation to the Captain’s Club cocktail hour.

These enhancements will make Celebrities suites even more desirable than they are currently. A lot of people moan about the ‘class system’ of Cunard with the suite customers having their own restaurant  but personally I think that customers to do pay a lot more for their suites so it is great to see them being recognised as being special and getting more for their money than just space.
