Now you might be thinking from the title of my latest blog that I am referring to an internet search but far from it.
I have been lucky enough to win a £1500 Celebrity cruise voucher in January for being one of top people here for recommending and booking many of our fantastic Smart Packages in January. I looked long and hard to try and find a cruise to take the family but finding a cabin or two for a family of 5 proved to be a little to much for me in school holidays even with the voucher. As I have always wanted to cruise with Celebrity I decided that I would do the 2 night taster cruise on the Eclipse on the 8th May 2016 just sailing over to Paris ( Le Harve ). So I thought I would treat my sister and brother in law and I would book two balcony cabins and have an adults on trip and get the kids looked after. With everything set thanks to Nanna and Grandad agreeing to babysit I went to book the cruise only for the dreaded terms and conditions to kick in ( Yes it even happens to us in the trade ) I could only use the voucher on 1 booking which meant only 1 cabin. Now much as I love my sister and brother in law the thought of sharing a balcony cabin did not appeal.

Desperate to use my voucher and get on my Celebrity cruise even if just for 2 nights I then hit on the idea of pricing a Suite. I soon decided I liked the idea and could share a Sky Suite due to the size and location and the extra benefits that you. It’s still not my first choice but when you get all the below it seemed to good to turn down –

My Sky Suite with all the Benefits
It all sounds fantastic apart from one thing…………………The Personal Butler service, My very own Jeeves. Would I feel comfortable letting anyone pack or unpack for me? I honestly don’t know. I’m from a working class background and whilst I love and expect great service I don’t know if this would be a step to far for me. I think it will go one of two ways I will either love having the butler and think it is the best thing ever and have him or her pamper to our every whim or will feel a little uncomfortable and say we will be in touch if we need anything and just do everything ourselves.
One thing I can say is I will certainly let you know how we get on and give my thoughts and opinion as to if the Suite life is for me as soon as I return.
What would you do would you ask Jeeves? Have you been in a Suite and had a similar service and dilemma I would love to hear.
