What’s in store in 2013?

After a couple of months away from Sales, a month or so spent in Marketing and most of December on annual leave, I felt a bit like the new girl when I came back to the office yesterday, however, after a couple of hours I felt as though I had never been gone. There was lots of catching up to do, making sure I was up to speed with all the latest offers and catching up with clients too which is always a pleasure.
So, what are the cruise lines offering to tempt us to book?
Well you won’t be seeing any January bargains from Cunard or P&O as they have their Vantage prices in place already and won’t be offering further reductions. Do remember however, that when booking with either of these cruise lines you can choose free coach transfers to Southampton, free parking at the port or On Board Spend.
Celebrity are now including their Classic Drinks Package (worth about $50 per person per day) in the price of their ex-UK cruises. This can be used in all lounges, bars and all restaurants on board and covers most alcoholic and soft drinks. A real incentive to book with them as it will have a significant impact on passengers on board accounts, for the better.
Princess have come up trumps by reducing their single supplement by 50%. By doing this they are sure to lure many single travellers away from the other cruise lines as their single prices now look really competative. They have this offer on a great selection of cruises so there should be something to suit most people.
Many of the river cruise lines are still offering great discounts – up to £1000 per person, and with shore excursion, gratuities and drinks with meals all included in the price of the cruise they represent excellent value for money along with being something completely different for people looking for something different to the average ocean cruise.
As usual, NCL have some superb prices which are sure to attract plenty of bookings. The Spirit continues to offer cruises at excellent prices whether you book fly/cruise or cruise only, booking your own low cost flights.
Times are hard and everybody is looking for the best deal and great prices. There are some good deals to be had out there from luxury to budget and from oceaan to river.
