“Togs on the Blog”

Forget ‘New Kids On The Block’, this is ‘Togs On The Blog’. This is pure self-indulgence on my part!
I am a devoted follower of Sir Terry Wogan and when his breakfast broadcasts finished just before Christmas I felt as though I had lost a true friend, as I expect many people did. No more of his delightful observations and no more Janet and John, God Bless Mrs Bickersdyke!
Sir Terry has been the lifeblood of Children in Need, since time began I think, and a regular feature of the Togs diary has been as Togs Cruise with Cunard each year in support of this charity.

In January of this year Sir Terry was voted ‘Retiree of the Year’ by Swan Hellenic and will be rewarded with a cruise of his choice. I presume he will be taking the ‘present Lady Wogan’ along with him!
Roll on February 14th when he will be returning to Radio 2 with his new Sunday show!
