It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

As I sit here writing this I cannot believe it is the 20th December, where has this year gone?  I’m sure I said the same this time last year, and probably the year before too!

What a year 2018 has been, apart from all the wonderful new cruise ships that have launched, we have had a new Royal baby, two Royal Weddings, the Beast from the East, one of the hottest and longest Summer’s on record – a distant memory now that the frost is on the ground, I made my first visit to the Norwegian Fjords in May which was wonderful and I have recently returned from our Christmas Conference cruise to Dublin, more of that next time, and yes there will be carpet pictures lol. I’ma Celebrity was a highlight for me, and my favourite Harry Redknapp won! Brexit has dominated the news and will continue to do so in 2019, where that will end goodness only knows. I bet Teresa May is looking forward to her Christmas break!

I have had a lovely December, having banked hours and saved holiday during the year I have enjoyed a long month off and have enjoyed it so much. Catching up with many friends – I have become a lady that lunches, temporarily, preparing for Christmas which I always love, and I have been to the Panto with my young nephew which was a fabulous afternoon. All in all a wonderful break and I will be returning to my desk next Thursday totally refreshed and ready to take on 2019 and all the exciting things that our wonderful industry has to offer. Plenty of new ships to look forward to in 2019!

I would like to end the year by thanking all of my clients, new and old, who have booked with me this year, I always enjoy speaking to you all and helping you plan your fabulous cruises and also hearing all about your adventures when you return. I very much look forward to doing it all again in 2019.

I wish you all the very merriest of Christmas’s, I hope you are all spending it surrounded by your loved ones, I certainly will be. I wish you all good health and prosperity in 2019.
