Charity Fundraising Concert and Grand Raffle…..

Here at cruise.co.uk we have two charities that are very close to our hearts. The first is ULegend, a charity set up by our former colleague Drew to raise money for Sarcoma UK. Sadly Drew lost his battle with Sarcoma last October but we continue to support his charity in any way that we can. The second charity is Reubens Retreat. Reuben, the son of one of our cruise line rep’s, sadly passed away last August at the age of 23 months, suffering from an agressive brain tumour. His parents set up the charity to try to raise £1 million in twenty three months to build a house where families of terminally ill children, or bereaved families can go to spend some quality time.

On 6th April we are holding a fundraising concert at St Laurence Church, Alvechurch, Worcs at 7.30pm, along with a Grand Raffle which will hopefully raise a significant amount of money for these two special charities.
The choir that will be performing on the night is Tarantara, a local choir who I have watched perform before and they are fantastic! They perform a mixture of Classical and Modern so there is something to please everyone.
Prizes in the raffle include a Mini Cruise, a one hour glider flight, a new hair do at a local salon, a Golf Day at a local club and a Shellac Manicure plus lots of other fabulous prizes.
Tickets are £10.00 per person and will include a drink.
We need all the support we can get to help us to raise money for these two very worthwhile causes so please support us in anyway that you can – buying a ticket and joining us on the night or donating a raffle prize.
