Barcelona Metro

When you sail into Barcelona there are various ways of getting around , but one of the cheapest and most efficient has to be the Metro……

I was riding around on it myself only last week, and found it very user-friendly, with easy to use maps – always a bonus for us ladies with little or no sense of direction! It is a much cleaner and modern version of our own London Underground. A multi-use ticket costs 7.70 euros and gives you 10 rides. Compare this to the open top buses at around 20 euros per day, and the Metro is the way forward for getting around.  That said, if you want to do a whistle stop tour of the sights, with no effort required, the bus is a great way of doing it.  You can jump on and off wherever you like.
