Ann of the Arctic!

For those of you who doubt whether cruising would be for you, Ann Widdecombe is a lady who is notoriously hard to please, and she is a big fan! She has revealed her ‘passion’ (God help us!) for cruising in an interview with the Daily Mail, where she also reveals travel plans for her retirement after the next General Election when she will be standing down.

Her favourite place to cruise, she says, has been the Arctic, which she states is her “favourite place on Earth”. She describes it as ‘Majestic, unspoilt, awe-inspiring, and deathly quiet’. Must make a real change to the House of Commons! Ann also describes how she watched a Polar Bear walking along a great vista of ice – quite a sight indeed.
