A great big ‘Thank You’ to all my loyal clients……….

……..especially those of you who have taken the time to visit my Blog and leave a comment on the ‘Rate My Service’ column. Thanks to your feedback I have won a cruise on the Fred Olsen Balmoral at the end of this month. My three teenagers and I, along with my friend and colleague Louise and her mom Jean, will be spending eight nights on the ship and visiting various cities around Northern Europe.

We will be visiting Gothenberg, Copenhagen, then cruising through the Kiel Canal to Hamburg, and finally calling in at Amsterdam, and the Christmas Markets will be in full swing.
I’m really thrilled to be going on the Balmoral again – our Company Christmas cruise was spent on her last year, and she is a great ship. The more ships I spend time on, the more I appreciate the Fred Olsen ships, and I know that many of my clients love them too. There is alot to be said in favour of the smaller ship I think. I know that I’ve booked at least four couples on this particular cruise and I can’t wait to meet up with them on board.

This will be my kids first time on a cruise ship, and they are really looking forward to it. The arrival of the Shore Excursion brochure today has caused great excitement – those of you who know me well won’t be surprised to learn that the ‘Dutch Gin Tasting Tour’ caught my eye immediately – well it would be rude to refuse wouldn’t it!

If anybody reading this has any tips for places that we really should visit in Gothenbery or Copenhagen I’d love to hear from you. Amsterdam and Hamburg I’m quite familiar with, so we should be ok there.
Louise and I plan to sample as much Gluhwein as possible in Hamburg – in fact, Louise has talked of little else for weeks! Bottoms up!
