Where has the past 7 months gone?

Well here we are near the end of December, and the big day is almost upon us all!  How quickly has this come about?  And I know we all say this every year, but this year really has flown by!  It doesn’t seem like two minutes have passed since the last one, and I’m not even sure I’ve finished paying for it, never mind this year.

I would like to state on a personal note of how quickly this year has gone, in that I have now been with cruise.co.uk for 7 months, having joined the company in May.  Now that has flown over!  I can honestly say that they have been the best 7 months of my career in travel, and when I talk to people about the company I honestly ask myself, why I never did this sooner?  The people I work with are fantastic and I have made some great friends with both colleagues and customers alike.

This week though I will be making a whole lot of new friends as I embark on my first cruise.co.uk conference out of Liverpool on Fred Olen’s Boudicca.  I am really looking forward to meeting everyone, as you speak to people on the phone all the time, but as most of us work from home all over the country, you very rarely get chance to meet people face to face.  It will be good to finally put faces to all those voices I have been speaking to.  I have been packing all week, but I know what I am like, guaranteed I will have forgotten something, and will be running around the ship half dressed, knocking on cabin doors asking to borrow something.  Believe me, it will happen.

Well this will probably be my last blog before Christmas, so I will say Merry Christmas to all my customers, I hope you all have a fantastic day and I will speak with you all in 2017!
