In the wake of the attacks on an Orlando nightclub this weekend, I wanted to write a short message to pay my respects to those people who have been affected and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families who have sadly lost loved ones in this tragic event.  I cannot imagine what these people went through and the pain their families are feeling.

Extreme events such as this one, have sadly become a reality of the world we live in today.  It seems like every time you turn on the news there is another headline regarding a terrorist attack, or a hate crime.

What does make me happy to see though, is that in any event such as this, no matter where you are in the world, everyone comes together and stands strong.  In the face of adversity, the true spirit of humanity is shown.

These people and their families will never be forgotten.  Today love wins!
