MSC Cruises you excelled in everything on Magnifica except the drapes and for me it’s all about the drapery, and i will explain why.
A few weeks ago, my husband and I sailed on MSC Magnifica from Southampton for 7 nights, and to be honest, it already seems like a lifetime ago. I have to applaud MSC for the ship as she is one of the most stunning ships I have been on and I loved almost every second of being on board. I especially enjoyed the food with 8lbs weight gained in 7 days, whoops! (Thankfully that is all off now),
I have to admit, there was one thing that did disappoint me. Anyone that has read my blog before will know that I have particular requirements when it comes to my cruise ship bathrooms. I am a simple guy, alls I ask for is cleanliness and a bit of space (I must add that I got both these of Magnifica). But the one thing I do insist on and have called many a cruise line out on before, is no shower curtains. I am sad to say, MSC you let me down.
I walked in to the bathroom and wanted to scream like I was in some old fashioned horror movie. I have said it before and I will say it again until every cruise line listens, drapery is not meant to be hung in the bathroom.
Glass shower panels are far more hygienic than a curtain, and you don’t get a rather uncomfortable hug from a glass panel like you do from a shower curtain.
I know this is a bad case of first world problems, but come on MSC, time to sort it out.
Apart from this, MSC you excelled my expectations in every way, and I am already looking to sail with you again next year.
