How To Get Banned from Royal Caribbean

Hopefully this is something that you don’t want to happen?  Who knows, maybe you do? And if so, all you need to do is follow the simple process that one passenger did last week and it will happen for you.

A passenger called Nick Naydev was this week filmed jumping  at least 110ft from deck 11 on Symphony of the Seas into the water below.  If your stomach can take it, I have included the video below. I hate heights so this is no good for me.

Spoiler alert – he survives!

Apparently, this was all done in the name of going viral on the internet.  To which I actually have no words. The guy apparently says that his feet were fine, but it was his neck and tailbone that were sore afterwards.  I think he should thank his lucky stars as it could have been a whole lot worse!

Royal Caribbean have issued a statement condemning the stunt and have banned him from all sailings on any Royal Caribbean ship for life.  Oh and they are exploring taking legal action against him.

So there we go, if you fancy getting yourself banned from ever travelling with Royal Caribbean, (and possibly dying) jump of a Royal Caribbean balcony into the blue waters of the Bahamas.

It was only last week that a 16 year old was fatally injured whilst climbing on a balcony on Harmony of the Seas as he lost his room card and was trying to get to his cabin.  This unfortunate incident happened whilst the ship was docked in Haiti. This could have easily happened to Mr Naydev in the bahamas, all in the name of becoming a viral sensation.

Was it worth it?  Not in my opinion.
