There Is Only One Word For It – Bellissima!
The excitement and anticipation has been growing for many weeks regarding MSC’s Bellissima’s naming ceremony. We are so lucky to have this event happening in the UK. I for one believe that it shows not only MSC’s commitment to the UK cruising business but a big thank you to us Brits who have supported MSC. Just cast your mind back a few years and think of the comments you heard about MSC – ” they only serve pasta and pizza ” , ” everyone speaks Italian ” – to name just two! How far they have come! I am sure you have seen their television advert that is airing at the moment – I think it gives a great impression of their ships and service, don’t you?
So it’s exciting to hear that Dancing On Ice and This Morning TV presenter Holly Willoughby will be hosting proceedings. How fantastic will the live music be when Nile Rodgers and his brilliant band Chic take to the stage and perform their hits – the crowd will definitely be on their feet! But, for me, the last but most definitely the best is that Sophia Loren will perform the traditional cutting of the ribbons and the official naming – I hope the weather is kind.
I am sure that the lucky invited VIP guests will have an amazing time.
But it does not stop there. As I have said in earlier posts this ship is definitely a ship for the future – last week MSC introduced the much talked about and first of it’s kind, the virtual cruise assistant ” Zoe “. Your virtual assistant will be able to answer all of your questions in the comfort of your cabin, book shows and make suggestions of what to see and do – and don’t worry about the language, she can speak seven different ones.
There is so much that is exciting for MSC at the moment and I for one wish them the best of luck.
