For those who aren’t old enough to remember it was – BOOK EARLY.

Never has such great advice been given to families.

For the past couple of weeks I have been speaking to an increasing number of customers who are looking for a ” good family cruise deal ”  during the school holidays. They have seen advertised offers such as  Norwegian Cruise Lines – Kids cruise for free deal – which is a good offer, their Ships offer fantastic family fun, but, when the flights are added – don’t forget, it’s only the cruise element that is free – it is over budget in many cases as to get cheap airline deals, you have to book early.

There are restrictions on the number of 3 and 4 berth cabins available, for health and safety reasons, the cruise line has a strict quota they can offer and once these are sold out, that’s it, they are gone. Yes,  a family of 4 can book 2 cabins, with 1 adult and 1 child in each, but who wants to spend their holiday apart? Also, on a lot of late deals cabins are sold on a guarantee basis, so they may not even be on the same deck.

So, my advice, if you want to get the best value that your money can buy – BOOK EARLY – don’t leave it until the last minute as the chances of a ” deal ” are rare and by booking early you can be certain of your cabin, know that the Childrens Clubs will be available, plan and enjoy the anticipation of your cruise holiday and importantly,budget for other expenses, parking, fuel, excursions etc  to name a few.
