I often get asked about the possibility of  extending a stay before or after a cruise. Let’s face it – if you are only away for 7 days, and you are getting to and from the port on the first and last day, it can feel as though you are away for 5 days. Not long enough.

I know a lot of us try and get an early flight so that if possible, we might be able to sneak a little bit of sight seeing in before we cruise, but it’s all rush, rush and what if we hit traffic and don’t get back to the ship on time etc etc.
