It’s 5 o’ Clock Somewhere!!

For those of us of a certain age, a few of us are sure to remember a certain song named Margaritaville. It was written and performed by Jimmy Buffett, a US singer, writer, actor and businessman. The lyrics perfectly describe his ” Island Escapism ” lifestyle, as do most of the lyrics of his songs.

So I was very pleased to hear that Mr Buffett’s lyrics and lifestyle have inspired Norwegain Cruise Line to open themed restaurants and bars, not only  on board their Norwegian Escape cruise ship but also on their new Caye – Harvest Caye. They will offer themed food, which should be interesting if you haven’t sampled the tastes before , but you will be able to buy BBQ sauces and margarita flavourings that you can enjoy at home. Fair enough,  it won’t taste quite the same – but what does when you get home?

I am sure that anyone who has visited any of the restaurants and bars whilst in the US before will be only too happy to re visit the experience whilst at sea!
