Just recently we have had some fantastic offers on River Cruises – 5 star cruising – including flights, transfers, excursions and drinks from just £995.00 per person – fantastic value.
But many people are unsure if it would be suitable for them – will the ship be too small? Is the entertainment any good? etc.
I have only experienced a couple of nights on board a river cruise ship, but hand on heart, I can say that if you are looking for quality, something different and interesting, then why not give it a go.
Whats not to love about docking in the heart of the city, rather than sitting on a coach enduring an hours transfer before you start your day sight seeing?
No sea sickness – and that is a massive plus if you do suffer from mal de mer.
There are so many rivers to choose from as well – if you haven’t tried a river cruise before, The Danube is a great river to start with, it flows through so many interesting countries that you won’t be disappointed, or what about the Douro in Portugal, fantastic weather and a very different than the usual river cruises on offer.
But it’s not just Europe that is on offer, Vietnam and Cambodia have long been favourites, but Burma is a new and fascinating destination that has really captured peoples imaginations.
