Didn’t they do well?

I know that’s not Ant & Dec’s catchphrase, but, I think it is very apt for their Saturday Night Takeaway television programme that was broadcast live from Barcelona on Saturday night.

To be honest I was sceptical about the whole thing. A live show from a cruise ship, it could so easily have been a recipe for disaster.

My family and I normally watch this show anyway, it takes me back to Saturday night tv when I was younger – a programme that all the family can watch and enjoy together.

I knew that the Geordie duo would do well, but I think I was more worried how P & O would look when the programme aired. But, there was no need to worry. From the moment the titles started it was a polished performance not only from Ant & Dec, but from the whole ship –  Britannia looked so impressive. She was Majestic, gleaming, shining like a diamond.

I am sure that many people watching were very impressed and may now decide to sail on her this year. I hope so.

Everyone on there looked as though they were enjoying themselves too – not just the winners of the free cabins!

This could start a new trend – what programmes would you like to see? Celebrity Big Brother from Anthem Of The Seas? TOWIE live from NCL Jade?
