Busy! Busy! Busy!

That’s what I have to say about January 2017.

In travel, we always get ourselves geared up for the post Christmas sales frenzy. But if truth be told, January often starts off a little slow.

There is a lot of competition for your money out there – seriously, how many adverts are out there trying to get us to buy a new sofa? Don’t people buy a 3 seater and 2 chairs these days?!

Personally, after all the Christmas shopping, if I don’t step into a shop until February, I will be very happy – as will my bank balance.

But this year it is very different, right from the get go, the phones are ringing off the hook, e mails are dropping into my inbox at a rate of knots – it’s great, and to be truthful it isn’t just families looking for that elusive bargain at the beginning of August, it’s everyone! Single travellers, couples, families the lot! and it’s certainly not the traditional 2 weeks with P & O from Southampton.
