Rockies Part 2

We made our way to the Station to Pick up The Amazing Rocky Mountaineer train, we where very Lucky to experience both standards both Silver and Gold leaf service, first day was Silverleaf,

Such an amazing experience at the station we where piped out of the building which was lovely and all the staff at the station waved us off,

I was really surprised how good the Silveleaf was seats very comfy and huge picture windows, we where served breakfast and lunch at our seats with a cart going through the cabin all day serving drinks and snacks, the views from Vancouver to Kamloops where stunning beautiful countryside and rivers,

We arrived into Kamploops quite late so went for a quick bite to eat and some drinks before setting fown for the night as early start again in the morning but this time Goldleaf

Very excited the goldleaf did not disappoint, you sit upstairs in the carriage and you dine down stairs waiter service everything cooked fresh to order, the girls always coming round with drinks and snacks all day, the breakfast had the famous eggs benedict which where to die for the menu was amazing and lots of choice,

The great thing about goldleaf is the viewing platform at the back where you can step out and view the amazing views, as you go along the journey you are giving facts and history along the way which was very interesting, also we where very lucky to see bears along the way as well as they are just coming out of hibernation,
