Norwegian Getaway Delivered

Norwegian Cruise Line has taken delivery of its brand new Ship Getaway, sister ship to Breakaway that launched last year. It has taken only 15 months to build the 145,465 gross ton Ship.

The Getaway will sail from Rotterdam today 13 Jan and travel to Southampton where she will begin inaugural festivities and continue in Southampton for 2 days before she departs for her transatlantic Cruise to New York on the 16 Jan. The Ship will be christened in Miami on the 7^th Feb.

I was lucky enough to go on her sister Ship Breakaway last year and was truly blown away by her, this was my first time on Norwegian Cruise Line and was very impressed, I loved the Freestyle dining they offer and the choice of restaurants was fantastic can’t wait to go back on board.
