Overboard

An amazing story that happened last week when a man fell from Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas just off the coast of Mexico.

Luckily he was spotted by Disney Magic as it was approaching the port passengers and crew saw the man in the water and raised the alarm, they lowered a life boat into the water and he was able to climb on board where he was then then taken to shore.

I have posted about the system ships have on board before regarding passengers going overboard been good enough and weather better systems need to be put in place as more and more incidents happen like this every year, all Cruise lien should look at this as a matter of urgency and help save more lives as not many are as lucky as this man was.

Since 2000 over 200 people have gone overboard.
