Child, 4, dies after being pulled from Norwegian Cruise pool

Very sad news that a 4 year old child has drowned on Norwegian Cruise Line Breakaway, also a 6year old child also found in the pool was revived by crew members and airlifted to hospital.

The two children were found in the morning on Breakaway and only there ages where confirmed.

This is the third event in the last nine months involving children who have drowned or were permanently injured in cruise ship swimming pools

The first tragedy involved a young child (also 4 yeas old) who slipped under the water on the Disney Fantasycruise ship and sustained brain damage

It does have to be questioned over safety and why these Cruise Liners have no life guards in place, things need to change and life guards have to be employed, why should Cruise Liners be any different to Hotels.

Water around will always create danger and with all the Cruises wanting families to come aboard they should look harder at the safety of its younger passengers.
