It’s all about Iona next Winter!

Winter has always been a firm favorite among our cruisers, it seems things just keep getting colder and colder here in good old Blighty with this year no exception. In fact we are having a very strong Jan and Feb in terms of the number of you departing for warmer seas.

You will no doubt be as delighted as I was this week with the launch of the brand new Winter season on The UK’s newest most eagerly awaited ship the P&O Iona

It was announced on Monday that Iona will be departing on 14 Night itineraries around Spain, Portugal and the canaries after her maiden voyage in The Fjords. She will also have Northern Europe Itineraries with ports such as Hamburg, Bruges and Rotterdam for Amsterdam.

Whats impressed me the most behind the scenes P&O have worked hard to ensure more overnight ports on varied itineraries as well as more 9pm late departures in more ports than anyone else.

The excursion are incredible with a real focus on “Off the beaten track travel so even if you feel you have been to a certain destination before I can assure you some of the little surprises P&O have planned for you make them worth a visit again.

Seville is a European city of culture and a firm fave among us Brits but the things you may not have thought of like Sand Dune tours in the Canaries in open top cars or  visiting the first World War museum in Bruge. there is a huge focus on those alternative over nights depending on your date of departure.
