Holiday Blues? Book Another Cruise

Holiday Blues

I speak to lots of people just like you, in the first few days of your return back from your cruise holiday.

There is generally something that, these calls all have in common. Sure you had an amazing experience and you’ve created lasting family memories but for me, there is almost a back to reality melancholy tone to this conversation which is what I can only describe as “Holiday Blues” setting in, perhaps you can relate.

Important!!! It’s not your fault!

I know from personal experience that I am at my happiest when I am on holiday so I suspect this is the same for you. Holidays, in particular, cruise holidays allow you to fully relax, “let your hair down” and take part in any activity that takes your fancy. It’s not surprising then, that holiday blues sets in so strongly just a few days after disembarkation.

The Tell-Tale Symptoms You have Holiday Blues!

You already know all the signs… The dread of work setting in, the not knowing how many more months or dare I say, years until you next get to feel the sun on your back or have the benefit of relaxing on deck, or being adventures on a shore excursion.

What’s the cure you say?

Well according to one of my customers… “Booking the next cruise” is the only known antidote.

It makes a lot of sense really doesn’t it. Book your next holiday now when you need that pick me up. That holiday of a lifetime you want to look forward to. It really doesn’t matter if it’s in 4 months time or if it’s 2 years away. It will give you something to look forward to.

According to one of our many satisfied cruise customers here are just a few of the reasons to book a cruise to get over the holiday blues.

  • Some big cruise holidays or bucket list holidays  can often take a little longer to pay off and paying early can mean paying a low deposit around £150pp typical depending of course on the cruise line.
  • It gives you longer to plan weight loss and clothes purchases to feel truly your best.
  • Allows you the very best choice of cabin, on board. The later you book it’s pretty much pot luck.
  • If you like to know exactly what time you will be dining then this can often become weight listed or otherwise unavailable last minute.
  • It’s a myth that cruises are always cheaper last minute as often major cruise lines are experienced at looking at their remaining inventory of cabins and can often afford to take the risk on supply and demand. It’s not unheard of that last minute can also mean paying more for the trip you want especially if you require flights included.
  • It also really depends on the type of person you are. A well planned, well-researched individual tends to book their cruise early along with the majority even booking shore exclusions and speciality restaurants well in advance.

I hope this helps to get you out of a funk and looking forward to incredible cruises to plan ahead for in the future.Stop wasting time feeling blue and get a quote on your next cruise today with me. It might be exactly what you needed to put a spring back in your step.
