A Refection On Being Treated Like A Celebrity

It’s time to sit down and truly reflect back on my time onboard the Celebrity Reflection. I can honestly say that Just to experience the exceptional level of service my husband and I received whilst cruising around, Greece, Turkey, and Italy was just mind-blowing.

What’s life like on board this “Floating City”?

Being able to explore the sites and sounds and take in difference cultures whilst travelling in 5-star luxury is a true reality when cruising. Where else can you be surrounded by 360 degrees of the vast, deep depths of the ocean looking straight back at you whilst sipping on a Blue Lagoon cocktail, listening to the sounds of one of the best Bands I have ever heard.

A Day In The Life Of A Celebrity!

Waking up in a new destination each day is such an unbelievable feeling. I absolutely love seeing spectacular sights to such incredible cities. Whilst my husband and I were approaching the ship to get back onboard, we were greeted with a cold towel to cool us down, a refreshing ice cold drink followed by a huge smile from the staff. (This happened each and every day whilst onboard) Wow, we were speechless.

Now on for more drinks for sail away at the Sunset bar. The views at this bar located at the AFT of the ship on deck 15 was just breath-taking, I will never loose the image of the panoramic views over the Aegean Sea, it is forever embedded in my memories.

After sail away, we decide to go and get “all glammed up” ready for the spectacular Broadway show at the Reflection Theatre, the perfect way to get us warmed up for tonight’s, late night dancing under the stars on the Lawn Club on deck 15. Oh, wait… I almost forgot, somehow we also found time for an exquisite three-course meal at the main dining restaurant “Opus” located on decks 3&4. Honestly, I don’t want to go OVERBOARD but the service, food and wine selection in this restaurant is outstanding and I can completely understand how this restaurant has won awards. This wasn’t just one day, this was how you were made to feel each and every day onboard Celebrity Reflection.

Every Celebrity Needs An Entourage

One of the things this ship does so well is to make you feel like you are that special VIP and nothing is ever too much effort. We were both greeted each and every day by our names, the bar staff even remembered what we like to drink and I will never forget my husband’s face when the restaurant staff sang him “Happy Birthday” and delivered a beautiful handmade cake to our table. Now how’s that for 5-star service!

A Dream Come True

A few years ago I dreamt of discovering the world of cruising. There was something so exciting to me about waking up each day, in a new destination and experiencing life on board this “floating city”. What I was not expecting was the level of service throughout which I received and how this genuinely made me feel like a “Celebrity”. I could not recommend this cruise more.
