Well, it is nearly time to pack up for a few days R&R to eat, drink and be Merry and start a load of new year resolutions that will be forgotten by the end of the first week of January!
Personally, I cannot wait to see the back of this year. If you know me and read my blogs you will know that this has been the most difficult year of my life. The loss of my dad in March, moving home and various other blips in life have made it a very stressful and unfulfilling 2018. However, onwards and upwards is how I will go into the new year.
I have to say, I have a fantastic support team of friends and colleagues and of course, my mum is my rock as I am probably her’s too.
I work for a fantastic company and my managers Denise and Vicki who have been very patient with me dealing with my grief and letting me cry, scream and yell abuse when the moment has been needed. For them I know I will do my utmost to make them proud and have a great 2019 for personal and work.
A special mention to many of my regular clients who have been supportive and sent words of love during a tough time. We may never have met in person but for 5 years I have been looking after these wonderful people and they are no longer clients they are friends. I hope they know who they all are without me having to say.
This year myself and this one (mum) will be joining 6 other friends for dinner and then celebrating with a few drinks with other friends in the evening. Of course, raising a glass for all those that are no longer with us.
On a brighter note, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very prosperous, healthy and happy new year for 2019 and I look forward to booking many more cruises for you all.

Hi Dawn.
Cliff here you met Pat & I a few years ago in Benalmadena.
Sorry to hear about your dad, I too have lost 3 members of my family(all over 80) in the last 18 months so I know how you are feeling.
You say you have moved, away from Benalmadena??
Hi Cliff,
Hope both you and Pat are keeping well. I have moved from Los Pacos, Fuengirola to Torrequebrada in Benalmadena so only about 10 minutes down the road.
Sorry to hear about your losses over the last 18 months, it has been testing and trying year for me, Here’s hoping 2019 will be a lot better.
Not sure if you have been over recently, but if you are coming over again I recommend a great bar in Ibensa Square. Mavericks Bar is above the Ibensa bar and has a great suntrap terrace with food and drink run by a lovely young couple. Always busy in the day.
Anyways, wishing you both a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year
Dawn
