My cousin recently visited Santorini and sent me these stunning photos. This is definitely on my bucket list for my next cruise.
Santorini is situated in the southern Aegan Sea and is made up of three islands that were formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago. This stunning caldera affords even the large cruise ships to anchor off its coastline.
Just shortly after Costa arrived I messaged my cousin to ask where the Royal Caribbean ship was and promptly received a new photo.
Whilst on the island there are lots of things to see and do such as the Minoan City of Akrotiri or many of the vineyards. Alternatively you can visit the Red Beach named after it’s red sands.
The main reason for visiting this island is for the stunning scenery of white buildings with blue roofs which dominates the skyline.
Finally you may be lucky to see one of the finest sunsets in the world.
If Santorini appeals to you after this please call me for an itinerary to include this amazing destination.
Thank you also to Tracy and Andy Grant for allowing me to use these stunning photographs.
