Where do you begin? Royal Caribbean has always led the way with its innovative activities and their new Quantum Class certainly delivers. Whether its sky diving or flow riding its all on board for you.
North Star
This jewel-shaped, elevated viewing capsule lifts you 330 ft into the air, allowing you to see for miles in all directions. I was a slightly sceptical of why you would ever want to go in this but the views of the ship are amazing and its complimentary although special times such as sunset may incur a charge.
Seaplex
This to me is the best use of the space as in this area you can attend Circus school, play on the Dodgems, Roller-Skate, play table tennis and take part in a whole host of sports on the Sports Court. Its your choice!
Ripcord by iFly
If you have ever wondered what it is like to fly then you have to give this a go. Every passenger has one complimentary turn but you must book in advance and be on time or else you will miss your slot. Powerful jets hold you up in a 23ft glass chamber which can be viewed by family and friends.
Flowrider
60000 gallons of water course through the flowrider every minute and you can either have a go yourself on a complimentary basis or take paid lessons. The best part is watching people get wiped out!!
H2O Zone
This is an outdoor water play park filled with colourful statues and fountains that shoot water from all angles for children of all ages.
Adult-Only Solarium
On a ship that is obviously biased to a younger market it is nice to see a bolt hole for adults. The solarium is a tranquil sun trap away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the ship and was a firm favourite of mine.
There is also a rock wall, running track, mini-golf and self levelling pool tables although I still lost!!
