Cruise Ship Infested With Cannibal Rats

It has recently been reported that a ghost ship laden with cannibal rats is heading towards our shores.

The 40 year old Soviet built cruise ship, Lyubov Orlova, has been adrift for over a year in the North Atlantic after being cut loose off the coast of Canada.

The coastguard and other authorities are worried that recent storms may have driven her thousands of miles towards the British Coast.

On board the old cruise ship are packs of disease infested rats that are feeding on each other to stay alive!!

Adventurers and salvagers are also watching closely, lured by the 4250 ton vessels £600,000 salvage value.

The ship was also reported last year as being 1300 miles off the coast of Ireland.

This made me think about other ghost ships and here’s a few I found.

Mary Celeste – found in the Atlantic in 1872 with her crew all gone and cargo still intact.

Jian  Seng – found off the coast of Australia in 2006 with nothing but rice on board.

Kaz II – found off Australia in 2007 with food on the table an a lap top still running.

Baychimo – abandoned in ice in Canada in 1931 then sighted repeatedly for 38 years up to 300 miles away.

Ryou-Un-Maru- after being swept away in Japan in 2011 by a Tsunami the ship turned up a year later in Alaska.

And finally The Black Pearl that was last sighted somewhere in the Caribbean with Captain Jack Sparrow at the helm……not sure if I dreamt that one though!!

Are there any others you can name?
