Do we get your vote
As some of you may know last year was a tough year for Cruise.Co.uk as we sadly lost our lovely colleague Drew to Sarcoma Cancer. When Drew was diagnosed he decided to take action and try and raise as much money as possible for Sarcoma UK. He set up his own charity ULegend and after events and fundraising efforts the just giving page now has raised an amazing £18,800.
Cruise.Co.uk wanted to get involved in the fundraising so events were held and my very brave colleagues even completed the Birmingham Half Marathon in Drew’s name.
Along with this we have had had the shaving of heads and facial hair(I assure you this was the male members of staff only !!!!)
A glorious Cake sale, which had some of the most amazing cakes and treats, baked by us and family and friends. This is just the beginning of it all and who knows what this year will hold with some of my colleagues pledging to jump out of aeroplanes and running yet another marathon.
You could imagine our pride and excitement when we found out that for the efforts made by Cruise.Co.Uk we had been nominated and made it to the long list for ‘Company of the Year’ award 2013. This means that the company is now up for the public vote.
The three companies with the most votes will make the shortlist for the Just Giving Awards 2013. The company with the most votes will be announced as the ‘Company of the Year’ at the event. This is where we need your help by voting for us as we would really love to win.
If you could click on the link below and register your vote for us before the 15thMarch we would really appreciate it. Feel free to pass it on to family and friends – every vote helps J
Drew’s page is still going strong and if you want to make a donation then the link is below.
Fingers crossed for us.
