If travelling with a young family you may wonder what the drinking laws are and what is and isnt allowed onboard the ships (I’m talking teens plus , not quite as young as these two cheeky chaps , and dont worry it is apple juice !). Here is a rough guide to laws onboard with the major cruise lines :

CELEBRITY: All passengers must be 21 years old to drink , with the exception of Europe , South America and Australia cruises if parents cruising with their children sign a waiver allowing their 18-20 year olds to consume alchol.

NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINES: Passengers 18-20 , with the written consent of their parents can purchase beer or wine for themselves ONLY when the ship is sailing in international waters.

PRINCESS:All passengers must be 21 Years old to drink alchol.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN: All passengers must be 21 Years old , with the exception of Europe and South America cruises if parents are cruising with their children sign a waiver allowing their 18-20 Year ols to drink.
