Easter Fun

The boys and I have had a lovely Easter as we packed up the car and headed off to Norfolk to go and visit my Nan for the weekend.  We were very excited as we have had such lovely weather lately we thought we may be lucky and have a splash in the sea and even build a sandcastle or two when we arrived…………. Errrr we were maybe a little too optimistic about this!!!!

Unfortunately being a bank holiday weekend the good old British weather didn’t let us down and it was completely freezing and lots of rain to match.  This didn’t put us off as we still boldly ventured down to the beach, stopping off on the way for an ice cold slush puppy which after two minutes of holding Luca lumbered on me saying it was two cold!!!!! Yes it was we should have been sipping on hot chocolates, as by this point I had started to lose the feeling in my fingers. Slush puppies a banded we started to head onto the beach where as you know the closer to the sea you get the icier it gets.  NO sand castle building took place; to be honest we probably lasted about 8 minutes if this.  The boys ran to the top of the sand dune and back by this time my Nan’s cheeks had started to turn purple so we made a speedy retreat.

I do love the Easter holidays and it is the perfect time to meet up with family, relax and eat too much chocolate, perfect what more could you ask for.  The boys were very creative and helped Granny Glo bake and decorate an Easter cake which was completely yummy.
After a few days off and recharging the batteries I am back to work tomorrow so if you are looking to find your perfect cruise give me a call and we will get you a great deal.  Don’t forget the new 2013/14 sailings are released at the end of the month so if you need any help or advice on this then I can get you all pre booked.
